Rachel E. Escoe
Rachel’s past projects have been based around ideas of found artifacts and unknown languages. There is a pattern in all of her projects. This pattern involves making several objects that are similar to each other in different ways. Those pieces are then put together to either create one uniform piece or in other cases to show their relations to each other. Her interest in this pattern is something she wants to pursue into her current project; which is the Emotion of Anger.
Venting anger is something that Rachel finds very important. In her view internal anger can become unhealthy, all you need is someone who will listen or a material to take your anger out upon. For example, glass plates thrown against a brick wall or smashing a pillow against a bed are great ways to let out that anger. Having
someone their lending an ear to listen to you is an amazing tool of expression. Although Verbal and physical abuse are not good ways to let out anger. Through out her study of this emotion Rachel hopes that her viewers will embrace anger as an emotion that, if expressed wisely, can create a balance in life along with
all of the other emotions that coincide in the human mind.
